How do I get rid of it?

My mom used some deoderizing stuff on the carpet because we have dogs. Everytime my mom uses it I get itchy watery eyes and sneeze and the sniffles. Im pretty sure im allergic to it. My mom said she will only use it on the weekends when im away. BUT she JUST used it 2 seconds ago! (because shr hadnt yet realized im allergic) how do I get rid of evey trace of it besides cleaning the carpets becaus my moms doing that now and its not working.
