Why do you feel so weak, hungry, and sore when you have a cold?

I've got a mild cold. The sniffles, sneezing, coughing and a bit sore. I notice that I feel weak and even slept about 11 hours last night when I usually wake up fresh on 7 hours. I also notice the aches and pains (mild) in my body. So it made me want to come here and see if someone knows what causes this to happen in the body lol. Also woke up pretty hungry.
