B&A: Is this very short paragraph good? Not amazing, but good enough for me to move on to another paragraph?

It's a bit disjointed, and in my opinion doesn't flow well. However, that's something you can take care of in editing. So by all means, move along, otherwise you'll fuss over one paragraph so much you'll never get your story written.
