trust me i know what you are going through and i have it a little bit worse than you. what i think you should do is sit down and talk to your aunt in a calm manner and tell her all the things that she does that irritate you and then let her tell you what she doesn't like about you (trust me it works) and try to work things out. and if she doesn't listen to you or ignore you tell her that there will be consequences like not spending as much time together as you usually do. but also remember this in life you will never get another family. cherish what you have and you know what if she doesn't change all you can do is be the better person and lead by example. you make sure that you set an example of how you would want others to treat you so this means when your aunt says something you be the bigger person and don;t yell back and if it progresses to far you leave the area your in. but in my opinion i think you should go for christmas.

if in a week he keeps up the sniffing and sneezing, if the fluid turns colors, if his third eyelids turn red, and if his appetite lessens, call the vet to see in you need to take him in to treat him for an upper respiratory infection. If not, it's probably just allergies. allergies in cats are more common than one might think and can easily be managed. URI's are super easy to treat. they'll give you a broad spectrum antibiotic like amoxicillin, clavamox, or orbax. that should dry him up in two or three days. (they'll tell you all about dosage when/if you get it.) if his eyes turn red it could be conjunctivitis and is really contagious to other cats and often occurs simultaneously with a respiratory infection. Also super easy to treat. there's this stuff called "terramycin" which i don't even think you need a prescription for and you might be able to get some over the counter at your vets office. (proper application is tricky but it works great.) Like people, when cats get all stuffed up, they cant taste their food and lose interest. if that happens, it increases the likelihood of it being a URI. Heat up his food in the microwave for about 10 seconds so it will increase palatabilty (boy, does it stink when you nuke cat food!) But it looks like you're on the look out for all the right symptoms and as long as you're diligent, he should be fine.

I have finally realized that hobbytron sells cheap worthless defective guns that brake after a day but because of their stupid return policy i'm stuck with 2 pistols i bought. They are giving me store credit and am not getting a pistol so I am going to get something that may actually work. My horse rushes and puts in extra strides before the jump?

My horse gets so excited about jumping thats soon as I turn him towards the jump he storms towards I can Hold him back quite abit, but because his brain in moving faster then his legs he ends up putting an extra stride in before the jump, resulting in leaping over the jump and throwing me off balance and out of the saddle. any good excersises i can use?

How can i teach my off the track thoroughbred to canter!?

You need to go back to square on with him, beginning with riding in an arena at the walk. He needs to be retrained (with a lot of patience) to yield to light bit pressure and to respond to your seat and leg. The best methods to do this are those of classical dressage principles. Once he responds in to your seat and leg and light hand in the walk, you proceed to the trot and then eventually to the canter. This is a slow, methodical process, with the horse letting you know when he's ready to progress to the next step. What you DO NOT want to do is pull on his mouth with both hands. You will start with one rein only to begin to teach him to yield to the pressure rather than to lean into it. This is just the beginning and it would take far too long to go into detail about the whole process here. Get a copy of one of the classical dressage texts (one of my favourites is Riding Logic - Littauer) and study it. Be patient with your horse. Don't be in such a hurry to get him cantering. The more time you take now, the less time it will take later on to get a good, calm, balanced, rhythmic canter.

Single-speed or 7-speed cruiser bike?

I am trying to decide between a single-speed cruiser bike with coaster brakes and a 7-speed cruiser bike with hand brakes. I haven't ridden a bike in about 15 years so figured a cruiser would great for me. I will be mostly using it on bike paths, sidewalks, and side roads, probably never on a busy road. I'm afraid that if you didn't say anything and you weren't so obviously ill that the exams officer moved you or talked to you about it then there is little that can be done now. If it's any consolation then putting in for special consideration would only increase your marks by 2-3% so wouldn't have made a huge difference.

It would not be good to do cardio with a cough because of the breathing involved with cardio. Also an intense workout that creates high levels of endorphins can wear down the immune system. It will take you longer to recover from your cold if you work out, but with no fever and once your cough is better than a light workout would be ok.

Should I Get Some Brand New Tires For My Car?

I just bought some used tires last month. I replaced all four because they were all worn down. I don't have much money so i bought some used tires at a used tire shop. I can't afford the ones from the store for $60 each plus installation I got these tires for $20 each. The type of tires i got were kind of smooth. Maybe too smooth. They other day i stepped on the gas and the tires kind of skidded a little bit. And yesterday it was raining and it was slippery and i could feel the car kind of skidding a little bit. It's not much but i could feel it a little bit. And i wanted to know if i slammed on the brake if the car would stop before the stop sign. Nope. What's wrong with my skin?

This is the fourth time this has happened to me, but by far the worst episode. The skin on my face is red, swollen, itchy and SUPER dry. I put on moisturizer and then ten seconds later it's gone and my skin is dry and flaky again. The itchiness is more like a burning and the only relief is a cold compress. Last time I had it, my chin and nose erupted in red itchy bumps and then went away after about a week. But now, it's around my eyes and cheeks. My eyes are so swollen It's hard to open them, they're painfully dry and the skin around it is red and inflamed. My cheeks are scaly and flaky. It is allergy season for me and a dry throat and sniffles accompanies the other symptoms. Right now, I'm just using a gentle soap-free, fragrance-free cleanser and slathering Vaseline ALL OVER for moisture. I'm using the Differin cream for acne, but only on my chin and around my nose because that's where the clogged pores are, so it couldn't be that. Any idea what it could be?

How do you teach a horse to keep a calm collected canter?

I have a 9 year old QH mare. She has lots of spirit and power beneath her strides and i have trouble getting her to slow canter. She has very long stides so whenever i try to keep her canter slow she's off balanced and loses her stride and drops back down to a trot where she's more comfortable, And because her strides are long she can trot just as fast as a canter so i guess that's why she doesn't want to canter slow(deciding to stick with what feels easier to her.) Are there any suggestions on how to encourage her to canter slowly instead of rushing or putting to much power in her strides?

The past few weeks I have been feeling extremely hungry, slightly nauseous, and really tired. I have a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan with 93,000 miles. When I drive down a steep hill and press on the brakes, the steering wheel shakes and I can hear it,and when I drive fast on the highway the steering shakes but not as much as driving down a hill without pressing the brakes. I called the mechanic and he said it is warped brake rotors. I had my rotors changed in April 2011 and this problem has been happening for over a year. I am scheduled to see the front end mechanic to see if that is the problem and I may just get my rotors replaced or fixed. Your thoughts? The Mechanic said I should get with the last mechanic whom changed my brake rotors, but I will see when I get my cars front end checked and he said it's not an alignment problem, but a brake rotor problem? Tips for taking the SATs when sick?

Tomorrow, I will be taking the SATs, and sadly I am sick. Question about cardio in new weight lifting workout routine.?

Hey guys, i recent;y started a new workout routine to get a little more fit. I'm not overweight, my BMI is about 15%, which i was told is in the normal range, but to be a bit more lean, i should stride for 8-9%. Now, at the same time i want to build some muscle, so my routine consists of a three day split, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Now my question is how should i fit cardio in this week? Only on my days off, two days a week, or should i go for the weekend too? Yesterday (Friday) i did legs, now my legs are pretty sore right now, but i could go for at least a jog now if i wanted to. Should i even bother, or should i just let them rest and recover the weekend? And by cardio i don't mean anything too stressful, about a half hour, 30 secs run, walk for 1 min and so on. I went to the doctor, and I had no temp, and she did a strep culture, and did a rapid strep test, well it came up negative, but on Friday night at 9:30pm which was May 20th I felt a sore throat, and by the next morning Saturday May 21st I could barely swallow, and I have thee most sorest throat I have ever had in my life and I feel like the back of my tongue is swollen. I never had a cold like this where it started off as a sore throat and boom the runny nose and cough came on like in a matter of hours, usually it would be like I have a sore throat for 2 or 3 days then the runny nose will come on, but what do you guys think. Also she said she wont be sending it to the lab because she doesn't think it's strep, but tell me what you guys think.

So when my husband buys a new car he'll be giving me his 1998 Chevy Malibu (um...yay?) It runs okay and I only really need it to make short runs to the store, laundromat, whatever. There was nothing to take (NOT EVEN THE STEREO!) but the middle armrest/storage compartment was ripped off of its hinges and the handle to the glove compartment was broken off. the back of my nostrils have been swollen since i was a little girl. i have really bad allergies.nasal sprays give me headaches, i have tried zyrtec, benderyl, claritin d, allegra (which i got immune to after like a day of using it, didn't do jack afterwards) and knock off versions. non of them seem to help with my congestion. i was wondering, if there is a non surgical way to unswell my nostrils or a better remedy to help me with my allergies. besides seeing the allergist. i don't have enough for that right now. i'm tired of how bad my allergies are. because my nostrils are swollen in the back, if my allergies are acting up at the same time, i can't breathe through my nose, to i have to breathe through my mouth. it's horrible because if i'm trying to eat, i have to eat and breathe at the same time and i cant even taste my food. if i try to drink, i choke sometimes or my throat hurts when i drink bc my nose is blocked. i can't sleep well, i always sniffle in the morning, afternoon, and night. i hate it. i need something that REALLY works. please help me. :/

What do you mean by adjustment? If you are talking about installing new brake shoes for the drum brakes and need to adjust them. You just drive in reverse and hit the brakes, do it a few times and it should adjust it.

Well for one thing, it can only go so far in there. The depth of the vagina only goes as far as the cervix. So don't worry about losing it in there because it can't happen. I've had a string break before and that's not even a big deal. You just squat, relax, and kind of push and it will be easy to remove. As far as the pain goes, you might just want to take some ibuprofen for that. Or it might be that you are putting it in wrong? Try using just plain original KY Jelly rather than vaseline. Tampons always hurt at first but then it becomes easier with time. You'll get used to it. You are still young. I didn't start using tampons till I was 20 because I was so scared of them.

Why do you feel so weak, hungry, and sore when you have a cold?

I've got a mild cold. The sniffles, sneezing, coughing and a bit sore. I notice that I feel weak and even slept about 11 hours last night when I usually wake up fresh on 7 hours. Allergies and the weather the cause?

I live in chicago, where the temp today got near 100. On my phone I noticed that grass allergies, an were very high. I feel like I have one, because I get dizzy, sniffle ish, have trouble breathing and this short but constant cough. Well, I think that your Aunt may be having some problems... Menopause maybe? haha but seriously, she could be having some problems of her own and so she judges everyone else. It's not at all right that she's saying that, she shouldn't be, but sometimes people that are going through something internally are mean and don't think of how what they say will effect other people. I'm very sorry that you have to deal with that, but instead of fighting her, which is obviously not helping, try spending time alone, going for walks etc... and avoiding her as much as possible and when she says those things, ignore them, just nod your head and block them out. There is no way to change what she is saying or why she is saying those things, the best thing to do is to be the bigger person and not let them effect you, no matter how hard that is.

How can I help myself to not break down and continue being the 'rock' for my friends and family?

My friends and family consistently have problems added on to already traumatic lives and I feel incredibly selfish when I feel myself falling apart of simple things. I really want to help everyone I care about, but I'm in the midst of going through puberty, and I'm already dealing with my own problems on top of having to help everyone else I know with their problems. I don't want to complain about my life, because I know its pretty good compared to some people I know, but it hasn't been a cake-walk either. I really hate feeling like I'm not in control of my emotions. I previously was incredibly good at keeping them locked up so I could be the 'rock' for everyone who needed my help. I built up a reputation for being a very stable and calm individual who could handle anything that was thrown at me. I was known for helping people out and knowing just the right thing to say, but after a chain of events that I don't wish to discuss[Synopsis: One of my friends died because of this chain of events and everyone has been very depressed], I've been left completely drained. I no longer have any idea what to say to any of my friends when they come to me for advice and I feel like I'm letting them down. Since I've been feeling hollow, everyone else's world has seemed to begin crashing down, and everyone else seems more stressed. Even under conditions like these, where a friend's death is involved, I'm known to remain calm and be the 'rock', but this time, I was just shattered. I really need advice on how to take all this stress in stride. Someone, can you please tell me how to beat back my emotions? I don't need anyone coming in here and telling me that I need to express my emotions freely. Everyone else I know is already doing that and they need someone who doesn't do that ever to be there for them. I am 17 years old and have tried my hardest to succeed in school, do what is right and please my parents. Their first and only other child has ruined her life and torn my parents and my hearts to shreds. So I have been dumped with all the expectation to be the perfect child. I am enrolled in college already and am going to get my AA degree at the same time I graduate high school! I am president of SGA! I have gotten a lot of A's a few B's and one C in my whole entire life. I have not asked for many things. I take every punishment and new rule they give me in stride and I do what they ask. I work at my mom's job and am fixing to start working with a woman from my church to clean houses for profit. I have a lot of money saved up and am paying off a car they got for me. Now all I asked is if I could buy a stationary bike so I can work out more often (since my mom is never in the mood to take me to the gym and I don't get my license until next month). She said she would not let me buy it with my own money! Why?! I don't know! She says that we have an old treadmill I could use and I have the dance program ZUMBA. But, the treadmill is old, squeaks, and I never wanted it. She bought it and she never uses it! Then I explained I wanted to do ZUMBA in the mornings and the days I have a lot of energy but I like the bike for when I still want to work out but do not have enough energy to dance and stuff. I always wanted a stationary bike and it allows me to sit and do something while burning calories at the end of the day. So I was like whatever! Then I have Senior portraits that she said she would buy for me. I only have four outfits allowed to wear and a prop to go with them. I play the flute but quit playing lessons for the money and I wasn't practicing as much as I needed to. Now my mom is forcing me to take my picture with my flute because she is paying for them. I'm jut getting so aggravated with her lately... so does this seem fair to you? I know life isn't fair but I don't know if I am over exaggerating...

What can I do to stop these panic attacks?

I'm a guy and 16. I have had bad nerves all my life but never this bad. I seem to have panic attacks everyday. It feels like as if my throat is closing up, like as if i'm losing balance and control of myself. I really hate it and its scary like as if i'm going to die right then and now. I try to control them but then my face and forehead start feeling hot and sweaty eventhough i'm not sweating. I have noticed that it happens mostly in really big rooms that the ceiling is at up in or when I have to stand somewhere and stand still cause I like to move alot and it makes it a little better if I get up to move around. Shoulder pain while running?

I'm a competitive swimmer and I have a history of tendinitis and scapular dyskenisis. I'm a really bad runner to begin with and we have to run for dryland in the morning. So, whenever I run, I have really intense shoulder pain in my left shoulder all through the front and along the back. I've tried loosening up while running and increasing my strides but nothing helps. Any suggestions or ideas of whats wrong? I would really appreciate the help! :)

I feel really sick but I don't have a fever?

Since I woke up this morning and took my brother to work I have been feeling terrible. I am extremely sensitive to cold and feel like I have the chills. I feel nauseous spontaneously but then it fades after a second, so I haven't thrown up or anything, but the nauseousness is also accompanied with a slow dizzy feeling like I'm floating but my stomach feels like it's doing back flips. I also feel really fatigued and wasn't even able to finish my usual work out that I've done every day for, I don't know four months now? I have a slight headache, but no fever. I am about to have a snack, maybe it will help the headache. One other possible symptom is my eyes feel really dry and itchy and I keep sniffling but nose isn't stuffy (ew). I'm home alone so my mommy isn't here to take care of me lol. So, my question is what could be wrong with me and does anyone know what I should do to feel better? Why do I have a tendency of doing these things?

I have I think a slight case of OCD. I have to have everything perfect books or hangers facing the same way. I can have stuff cluttered but it will literally stay on my mind until it is done. I have to do some stuff a certain number of times or do it just right or I'll have to keep doing it. That and ever since I was little I make repetative noises. I'm not trying to be rude or annoying I can't help it or I don't realize I do it. Clearing my throat is one, sniffling is another, making other random noises like one for awhile was a pst noise. Shorter canter stride?

I have a 15.1-15.2 quarter horse paint. I know that a normal horse stride is about 12'. I set up three canter poles and kept moving them closer until my horse was cantering over them cleanly. Should I let it bother me?

My boyfriend and I have been having problems recently, and one of the most drastic is his relationship with another girl. He never physically cheated on me, but their constant flirting and talking struck me as a little more than friendship... (she would sit on his lap, stick her hands up his shirt and tickle him, and once went so far as to call me an estranged lover) I immediately went to him and told me how much his relationship with her bothered me, and he ignored it and kept on acting the same way. Yesterday, he told me that she had called him and they had a brief conversation about something trivial. However, today, we were sitting together when he saw that he had a missed call. He checked the phone number, and when he did, I saw that he had an outgoing call to this girl. He had called her yesterday. I feel very betrayed and lied to, but according to him, she called him and he missed the phone call, so decided to call her back. That wouldn't bother me, but I don't know whether to believe him. Help! Back injury and I don't know what to do?

Yesterday I was practicing for a talent show, and me and my friend do a flip together, but she took me too low and i hit my head, so we told her not to go so low and how to to in better, so we tried again, this time I hit my head hard (btw we were practicing on concrete, it was the only place big enough) and my neck through my upper back snapped crackled and popped a bunch, at first i was really dizzy, but I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want them worrying, and my friend was crying already. My mom used some deoderizing stuff on the carpet because we have dogs. Everytime my mom uses it I get itchy watery eyes and sneeze and the sniffles. Im pretty sure im allergic to it. My mom said she will only use it on the weekends when im away. BUT she JUST used it 2 seconds ago! (because shr hadnt yet realized im allergic) how do I get rid of evey trace of it besides cleaning the carpets becaus my moms doing that now and its not working.

Strep Throat or just Allergies. ?

i was treated for strep throat with clindamycin (300mg 2x4 a day for a week) from may 30 - june 7nd after finishing my antibiotics on the 8th of june I was fine and sickness free for about another seven days. two days ago my throat started to hurt alot and i got so much post-nasal drip to the point where in the mornings i was almost coughing some of it out into the toilet. i noticed in the beginning of my reccurrent episode of sore throat it occured randomly after gargling with salt water. i went the the hospital the next day and was told it wasn't strep but allergies since i had a slight cough and alot of post nasal drip, they ER doctor gave me claritin and some nasal spray. since then i still have a sore throat but in a localized are of the back of my mouth and my nostrils appear quite red and irritated even though i don't have the sniffles and i'm not blowing my nose. I just lost my health insurance a few days ago and I cannot see my doctor untill i get this sorted out on monday perhaps. If its the dreaded return of strep throat what shall i do. ? could it just be allergies. ? i don't have a fever like i did when i first got strep throat and there are no other symptoms.

Hey I've recently started running this past february and I must say that I love it and am improving every time I run. Although I love it, I am REALLY slow - even compared to my friends who rarely work out. This has me worried that theres something wrong with me. I have extremely short strides but I can go for about two miles without stopping. Im talking short strides as in a couple notches about speed walking. I dont tire too too easily but the thing i'm really worried about is my tiny stride. I've tried a few times to quicken my pace but then I get too tired and have to go back to slow mode. A mile takes me between 9 to 11 minutes and I weigh about 135lbs. Can you guys help me explain this or give any advice/recommendations? Could it have something to do with my diet? Or is it something physical holding me back? I really want to get good at running long distances but cant seem to break the cycle. What do you all think? Thanks a bunch in advanced!

i dont know about rats, but you can call a vet that works with small animals such as rats, and get some over the phone advice, tell them your rat is constipated and they will be able to tell you how to help him at home, or if its more of a serious problem they will ask you to bring him in. i dont know what you can feed rats? but if you can, feed him cucumber give that to him as it is watery and in hopefully will soften his stools, see what foods are safe for rats that will soften his stools, i hope this somewhat helps good luck

I was driving my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I ran out of gas. I rolled it to a gas station and put a few gallons of gas in it, but when I turn the key the car doesn't start. It will run for a few seconds and then turn off. The only way I got it home was by revving the gas peddle repeatedly, but once i pressed the brake the car would stop. Was there something special I was suppose to do when the fuel tank runs dry? If so, what is it and how can I get it started?

3 days ago my cat had a fight and some other cat bit his front left arm, he walked on 3 legs so i took him to the vet 3 days later (today, only day i had free time). the vet said hes fine, gave him 2 injections (some anti-biotic or w/e) gave me some pills to feed him day and night. after that i took my cat home left him inside for the rest of the day (as the vet had suggested). after a while he kept 'meowing' me so i thought he was hungry and gave him some food, which he didnt want. then i knew he needed to urinate so i let him go outside to 'get it done' after that he ran off somewhere and couldnt get him back. i always put food into a rice bowl and hammer it with a spoon and he knows that that means 'yummy food'. i did that trick to try and lure him back into the house, its been almost 6 hrs and hes still not back. im scared something might've happened, will he come back tomorrow morning? another thing ever since i first had him he never slept outside at night i always have him sleep in the house, so this is the first night he 'could' be sleeping outside. im worried about his arm and i miss him, will he come back and if not what should i do? *sniffle* :'(

Car was damaged while at automobile shop getting worked on...?

I just received a phone call regarding my car being damaged while it was at the automobile repair shop. I have a 5 speed civic with an automatic start button on the remote. I told the employees that yesterday we accidentally pushed the button and the car started and drove itself into the bumper of a van. (it was in 1st gear with the emergency brake up). I told the technician to be careful and not press the automatic start button. I received a phone call stating that the technician supposedly just pressed the unlock button on the remote and the car started and drove itself over the parking stopper (cement) and into a cement flower bed. There is damage to the car (deep scratches on the front bumper). Do I have any chance of the automobile center to pay for the repair of my bumper? Has anyone heard of this happening before?

Whats going on with my van?

I got a 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.3L 148K mi. I have a few electrical probs. This morning I went to start it and It was completely dead, no electrical power whatsoever on the van. i take my key out of the ignition and im hearing a weird humming, crackling sound that only stops when my foot gets on the brake. i turn the key back and forth from lock to start; NOTHING. I was so stressed out and i ended up driving home with my e brake because my brakes wouldnt work. about 30 minutes later police showed up at my door saying i hit and ran, i wasnt aware of this until they came and told me because i guess the cone that i hit, hit another car which ended up being an accident ? and then it looked like i ran... So the cops wrote me a ticket for a court date and the person that got hit my the cone is making bull **** up that i was speeding cause my car is a civic that is tuned up. because of this i could be loosing my license for 6 months because im a newly licensed driver and the ticket got written up as careless and imprudent driving. They also mentioned i have to do my inspection for my brakes, and once i do that i gotta get the guy that done it for me to tell the cops what happened and why in order to keep my license. Now im worried because i dont know if anyone will do that for me because they might not have time for me, but please leave a comment

Why do my eyes water and why do I sneeze after I eat ANYTHING!?

Hm, sounds like an allergic reaction, if its only happening when you sit around your computer, maybe something around that area is making you do this stuff, like dust, maybe try dusting your computer off? Or perhaps its the certain stuff that you eat that's making it happen. Well, I didn't ride yesterday, but my last ride was awful. My mare and i just started jumping, she has never done it before so im trying to teach her . So far, after a year, i made it to 2' verticals. but the thing is, she doesnt think she can make it without charging towards the fence. She ends up jumping flat and throwign me off balance. its because when she gallops towards the fence (just so you know, when this happens , she grabs the bit and is almost uncontrolable... just so you dont blame me for evverrryyything) Her strides lengthen and when she gets to the fence, she either jumps supperrrr early or jumps in another very short stride. What can help me with this ?

Your character seems to be very fiery and that's a pretty good character trait. But, if she like this all the time, it may bore the reader. Everything seems so high-strung it makes everything pop but nothing seems to stands out. Besides her being conceited, what other flaws does she have? Where is the foreshadowing ('hints' about what may happen next)? Your writing is really good, but readers need something to cling to besides 'that she popular and randoms don't matter'. So a definite dramatic or seemingly inescapable problem should arise to make the reader want to read more. I hope I helped :).

How to turn off all exterior lights while car is running?

If i pull my e-brake up 1 click so it stays the head lights will turn off , its not actually engaging the e-brake so im not worried. but can i make a switch to turn off my parking lights at will ??? Slightly deaf in one ear after cold?

I'm just getting over a cold, I still have a cough and sniffles. At first I thought my ears were just plugged from my cold. On Sunday my left ear started having pain from pressure, and now I can't hear out of my left ear. I can only hear very VERY loud noises. If I cover my right ear, it feels like I'm covering both. Is this just mucus build up from my cold? And will this go away soon? It's ONLY my left ear, and it hurts randomly.

Can "bare-foot" running help fix many problems that runners have?

I heard that most runners wear shoes that have excessive cushioning and support to the point where the shoe "does the running for them". I also heard that barefoot running or using a minimalist running shoe can help fix your stride and strengthen muscles that would otherwise be left weak by wearing normal running shoes. Is this true? It's probably simple discharge or something and maybe she just go her period too. A first period is usually very light so it wouldn't bleed through. And a lot of people don't have any symptoms when they're on their period except for the blood. I never do.

I think my cat has an injured tongue?

I have a 5 year old cat that I brought to the vet 2 weeks ago for a spot on her back & ear that looked irritated, crusty & sore. The vet said it looked like a bacterial infection and gave me antibiotics & an ointment. It cleared up rather quickly. Then she developed the sniffles. In the past a vet recommended giving a cat 1 mg of liquid children's benadryl. I did this yesterday & I know that it is normal for the cat to drool because of the flavor but she had a little bit of blood mixed in with the drool. It cleared up & she was acting better. This morning she is acting a bit lethargic and she is eating & drinking but with some hesitation. She is pawing at her water bowl & it's almost like it hurts. She seems to get a better drink from the running faucet. She tried to clean herself & stops. Her tongue was going crazy when she was drooling, is it possible that she bit it & now it is sore?? I can't see anything but it's hard to get a good look since she freaks out when I open her mouth. How long does it take for an injured tongue to heal? I really can't afford another vet visit but will find a way if this sounds serious. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

What is a good mountain bike, that won't break the bank?

Okay so I want a decent cheap mountain bike.. You know like, one that doesn't cost $400 or more! I had one of those $150 mongooses, but it was AWFUL! First I had a complete front brake lock up! From just lightly pulling on the front brake lever riding down the road. I don't mean like the wheel locked up because I pulled the brake lever. I mean the brakes locked up and would not come undone. I worked on it for awhile, and I got that fixed. Then I went over a very minor bump in the road at a high speed, I didn't even crash or anything like that! But the stock rims got bent out of shape, and I had to take into the shop for a replacement rim. Then, My back brakes stopped working. It wasn't like they had a catastrophic failure like the front brakes did, they just simply wouldn't work. Well I gave up on trying to fix it for awhile, and spent more time trying to figure out how the brake system worked. I got a pretty good understanding of how the brakes work and I successfully fixed them. However they are already losing alot of tension and fast, and I don't even do alot of hardcore braking. I'm beginning to think it needs a new brake like. Then to finally end it all, today I was riding around. I jumped off of a 5 inch ledge... I kid you not, just 5 inches AT MAX. And that 5 inches was enough to somehow whip the rear derailleur into the spokes, and once that happened it was all over. I don't know how it happens, and I'm 100% sure that I did not hit it on the ledge when I jumped, because I hit the ledge perpendicular, making it litterally impossible for the ledge to have it.. The only thing I could think of is that that little jump was enough to whip it into the spokes. Anyways I'm tired of this piece of junk! What is a decent bicycle (specific model or manufacturer) that wont break the bank, or break when it drops 5 inches?
